Pension communications - what to send and when to send them

For info, here’s a list of the communications that must be sent to your team and when they need to be sent, to ensure that your company is compliant.

 

Postponement Notice

This communication is mandatory and must be sent no later than 6 weeks after your Staging Date.

This is a communication informing everyone of the new assessment date and let’s them know that they can choose to opt in earlier if they want to.

Postponement Notice for new joiners

This communication is mandatory for compliance purposes and must be sent no later than 6 weeks after an individual’s start date.

This is a communication informing the new team member of their postponed assessment date and let’s them know that they can choose to opt in earlier if they want to.

Automatic enrolment Notice

This communication is mandatory for compliance purposes and must be sent no later than 6 weeks after an individual’s enrolment date.

This is a communication informing people that they have been automatically enrolled and contains all the mandatory information for compliance purposes.

Opt in/join Notice

This communication is mandatory for compliance purposes and must be sent no later than 6 weeks after an individual’s assessment date.

This is a communication informing people that they have not been automatically enrolled but can choose to opt in or join if they want to. It also contains all the mandatory information for compliance purposes.
